Sunday, March 8, immediately after worship: Congregational meeting to hear the report of the 2020 Nominating Committee and vote on Elders for the Session Class of 2023. Called Session meeting will follow in Classroom A to receive new members.

Monday, March 9, 6:30 p.m.: Operations Committee.

Sunday, March 15, 12:30 p.m.: monthly session meeting in Classroom A.

Monday, March 16: Food Sort. Meet in the church parking lot at 9:30 a.m., travel to the Food Bank, sort until noon, then have lunch together.

Recycle your toothbrushes for TerraCycle by donating them, empty toothpaste tubes, empty dental floss containers and toothbrush packages. Baskets are near the food cart. See

Bags of convenience items for the homeless are still available to give to people asking for donations along the roadways. Get them from the green bucket near the food cart.

HEADSETS for improved hearing are available in the sound booth at the window side of the sanctuary.

DON’T FORGET the FOOD CART! Hundreds of families depend on your donations. With the uncertainty with the availability of government assistance this month, let’s make sure the Food Pantry has plenty of food to tide them over.

VOLUNTEERS for the PRE-SCHOOL ARE NEEDED during Sunday worship time. All of our children are precious gifts, and we are so blessed to have them. If you would be willing to give up your worship time for one Sunday and spend that time with the children, please contact the church office or Glenda Ellis, and we'll get you scheduled for service.

CHAIR YOGA meets Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:30pm in the Fellowship area. Build increased flexibility and better balance with these low-impact yoga exercises. For more information, contact Lynn Ward.

JOHNSON AUXILIARY collects items all year long—current needs are men’s pants sizes 30-34, men’s casual shoes (all sizes), umbrellas, and hygiene items (toothpaste; toothbrushes; large combs and brushes, particularly those for detangling hair).
