WELCOMING VOTERS -- Balmoral will be a polling location for the city election on Thursday, Oct. 3. To extend a welcome to our neighbors, we need volunteers to provide snacks and friendly faces. Sign up on the friendship pads to bring snacks or to cover one of the time slots between 6:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.

CELEBRATING THE SCOUTS – Our Troop 364 is marking 50 years at Balmoral this year. Join us for lunch following worship on Oct. 13. If you know any former 364 members, invite them to come.

HEADSETS for improved hearing are available in the sound booth at the window side of the sanctuary.

DON’T FORGET the FOOD CART! Hundreds of families depend on your donations. With the uncertainty with the availability of government assistance this month, let’s make sure the Food Pantry has plenty of food to tide them over.

VOLUNTEERS for the PRE-SCHOOL ARE NEEDED during Sunday worship time. All of our children are precious gifts, and we are so blessed to have them. If you would be willing to give up your worship time for one Sunday and spend that time with the children, please contact the church office or Glenda Ellis, and we'll get you scheduled for service.

CHAIR YOGA meets Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:30pm in the Fellowship area. Build increased flexibility and better balance with these low-impact yoga exercises. For more information, contact Lynn Ward.

JOHNSON AUXILIARY collects items all year long—current needs are men’s pants sizes 30-34, men’s casual shoes (all sizes), umbrellas, and hygiene items (toothpaste; toothbrushes; large combs and brushes, particularly those for detangling hair).
